Carlos Silva, 69, of Pampa, died July 11, 2015 in Amarillo. Services will be at 2:00 PM Tuesday, July 14, 2015 at Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel, with Rev. Roy Kafula, associate pastor of St. Vincent dePaul Catholic Church, officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. Mr. Silva was born July 28, 1945 in San Luis Potosi, Mexico. He had lived in Pampa since 1977. Carlos married Irma Silva in 1971, and she preceded him in death in 2012. He worked for Fish Engineering and Sackery from 1977 until he retired in 2009. He was a member of St. Vincent dePaul Catholic Church and enjoyed gardening and spending time with his family. Carlos was preceeded in death by two brothers, Jose Silva and Carlos Silva; and a sister, Vacilisa Aguillar. Survivors include two daughters, Noemi Silva of Amarillo and Maria Herrera of Roswell, New Mexico; a son, Juan Carlos Silva of Pampa; a brother, Raul Silva and wife Eva of Friona; four grandchildren, Clarissa, Domenic, Zachary, and Gabriel; and a great grandson, Isaias.
