Danny Williams, 61, of Lawton, Oklahoma, formerly of Pampa, Texas, died July 7, 2015 in Lawton. Services will be at 3:00 PM Thursday, July 16, 2015, at Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel in Pampa, with Rev. Wesly Smith, pastor of Macedonia Baptist Church of Pampa, officiating. Cremation will follow the services under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. Mr. Williams was born June 3, 1954 in Pampa. He had been a resident of Pampa most of his life, graduating from Pampa High School in 1972. Danny worked for West Texas Ford for several years and for Haliburton. Most recently, he worked for American Medical Service and Supplies in Lawton. He was a veteran of the U. S. Navy. Danny was more like a brother than an uncle to his nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Eartha Williams; two brothers, Jimmie Lee Johnson and Billy Payne; two sisters, Rosa Lee Clemons and Frances Dorsey; a step brother, Charles Johnson; and an aunt, Billie Phea. Survivors include his significant companion, Courtney Brown of the home; two daughters, Detra Williams of Pampa and Tashia Wilson of Clarendon two step daughters, Kurston Perryman and husband Robert of Lawton, and Kendra Grays of Pampa; seven grandchildren, Montre Williams, Derrius Williams, Xstavian Williams, Purshe Henderson, Inashia Henderson, Kia Henderson, and Ana Henderson; a step grandson, Hayden Perryman; a great grandchild; sister-in-law, Hazel Lee Johnson of McKinney; three step brothers, Claude Earl Johnson and wife Charity and Robert Johnson and wife Levore, all of Fort Worth, and Andrew Williams of Gainesville; special nieces and nephews, Jimmie Johnson, Cynthia Lemons, Edna Fay Camel, Roxie Robinson, Troy Grimes, Kevin Grimes, Billy Grimes and Bobby Dorsey; and a special cousin, Alvin Ray Johnson.
