Candelaria Gonzalez de Esquivel

Candelaria Gonzalez de Esquivel, 75, died Monday, July 20, 2015, in Pampa. Mass will be at 10:00 AM Wednesday, July 22, 2015, at St. Vincent dePaul Catholic Church with Rev. Francisco Perez, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. Arrangements are by Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. Mrs. Esquivel was born Aug. 21, 1939 in Torreon, Coahuila, Mexico. She came to Pampa in 2007 from Chihuahua, Mexico. She married Manuel Esquivel who preceded her in death on May 19, 2014. Candelaria was a member of St. Vincent dePaul Catholic Church. Survivors include three daughters, Norma Melendez of Ridgeland, Mississippi, Juana Leyva of Chihuahua, Mexico, and Susana Vasquez of Pampa; a son, Victor Esquivel of Las Vegas, Nevada; a sister, Guadalupe Gonzalez of El Paso; two brothers, Guadalupe Gonzalez and Cruz Gonzalez, both of Chihuahua, Mexico; and eleven grandchildren.
