John Charles Braddock

John Charles Braddock, 30, of Pampa, passed from this earth on Tuesday, August 4, 2015 in Pampa. Services will be at 2:00 PM Saturday, August 8, 2015, at Briarwood Church, with Rev. Brian Thomas, pastor of Harvest Bible Church, and Dr. Roger Hubbard, pastor of Lake Tanglewood Community Church, officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. John was born on September 19, 1984 in Pampa to Terry and Susan Braddock. He graduated from Pampa High School in 2003 and went on to Illinois State University where he played football on an athletic scholarship. John finished out his college career with a Bachelor of Arts degree in multi-disciplinary studies from Texas Tech University in 2012. He worked for Miami Wind Invenergy Services as a wind technician. John was an avid athlete and was always busy with a new adventure. He enjoyed cycling, crossfit, yoga, traveling, snowboarding and photography. He regularly rode in the MS150 Bicycle Ride to support those with multiple sclerosis. John had a passion for helping others, spending time with his family and friends, and visiting the family farm. John was preceded in death by his father, Terry Braddock, his maternal grandfather, Charles Lockhart, and his paternal grandparents, Jerry and Kathleen Braddock. John is survived by his mother, Susan Braddock of Pampa; his grandmother, Jan Lockhart of Pampa; his brother, Jay Braddock of Houston; his aunt and uncle, Sharon and Robert Seymore of Lubbock; and his cousins, Ben Seymore and Cade Seymore, both of Lubbock, and Kerry Braddock and Lisa Lang, both of Pampa. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the National MS Society, 3610 22nd Street, Suite 301, Lubbock, Texas 79410. John loved so many, was loved by so many, and will be missed by all.
