Guen Junior Allen, 78, of Pampa, died August 27, 2015 in Amarillo. Memorial services will be at 2:00 PM Monday, August 31, 2015, at Cornerstone Baptist Church, with Rev. Rodney Weatherly, pastor, Rev. Kyle Collins, associate pastor, Rev. Micah Meurer, pastor of Paramount Baptist Church of Amarillo, River Road Campus, and Rev. Marty Field, officiating. Cremation and arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. Mr. Allen was born December 21, 1936 at the family farm in Strong City, Oklahoma. He had been a resident of Pampa most of his life. He married Jan Cook on March 29, 1975 in Pampa. Guen was the owner and operator of Allen Hose from 1983 until 2008. He enjoyed playing golf, restoring old cars, traveling, and spending time with his grandchildren. Guen was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer and Olga Allen; a nephew, Ronnie Owens; a brother-in-law, Ron Owens; and his mother-in-law, Hildred Cook. Survivors include his wife, Jan Allen of the home; his son, Aaron Allen and wife Tiffany of Norman, Oklahoma; his daughter, Barbara Masilamani and husband Senthil of Tacoma, Washington; two sisters, Ramona Owens and Pat Rockwell and husband Don, all of Tacoma, Washington; four grandchildren, Danielle Flynn of Seattle, Washington, Austin Allen, Aaron Allen, Jr., and Trinity Allen, all of Norman, Oklahoma; two nephews, Todd Rockwell and Troy Rockwell, both of Tacoma, Washington; two nieces, Shannon Campbell and Rhonda LeFrancois, both of Tacoma, Washington; and two special cousins, Alicia Andrew and husband Adam Starks of Austin, and Shannon Andrew of Newport, Rhode Island.
