Lucrecia Montoya, 78, of Pampa passed away September 6, 2015 in Pampa. Vigil and rosary will be held at 5:00 PM Tuesday September 8, 2015 at Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel with Rev. Roy Kafula, associate pastor, officiating. Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 AM Wednesday September 9, 2015, at St. Vincent dePaul Catholic Church with Rev. Francisco Perez, officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. Mrs. Montoya was born May 3, 1937, and raised in Guanajuato, Mexico. She married Rodolfo Tinajero in 1958 in Mexico. Eventually she and her husband moved to Pampa to be closer to the family in 2005 where she would reside ever since. She was a member of St. Vincent dePaul Catholic Church. Lucrecia was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who enjoyed cooking, taking walks in the outdoors, and caring for the people in her life. Above all she loved and cherished her family, especially her grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by her family and her friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers; and by a sister. Survivors include, her husband Rodolfo Tinajero of the home; four daughters, Norma Tinajero and husband Antonio, Angelina Tinajero, Concepcion Rivera and husband Victor all of Pampa, and Carmen Tinajero of Mexico; two sons, Salvador Tinajero and wife Irene and Martin Tinajero and wife Rosa Maria, all of Pampa; and 10 grandchildren.
