Nancy Kathryn Wills

Nancy Kathryn Wills, 79, of Pampa, died September 7, 2015 in Pampa. Private family celebration of life will be held at her home. Additional celebration of life will be on the beach at Melbourne, Florida, with burial at sea. Cremation and arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. Mrs. Wills was born May 15, 1936. She was raised in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and was a 1954 graduate of Classen High School in Oklahoma City where she was a cheerleader and the queen of all sports. Nancy attended Oklahoma University while working at Pac Bell as a switchboard operator, and was a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority. She married Donald Lee Wills in Oklahoma City, and he preceded her in death on February 3, 1996. Nancy worked for Estee Lauder for many years as a beauty consultant and teacher, and later worked as a make-up artist for the Miss USA Beauty Pageant for over five years. She was a Presbyterian and taught Bible classes for children for many years. Nancy was preceded in death by her youngest son, William Charles Wills in 1991; a brother, Pete Viers; and her best friend of 50 years, Bobbye Downs. Survivors include her daughter, Nance Dawn Wills and partner John Griffin of Pampa; her son, Carl Thomas Wills of Melbourne, Florida; five grandchildren, Keelei Braswell, Ryan Braswell and wife Lacy, Renee Wills, Danielle Wills and partner Christopher Dolmaten and Zachary Wills; four great grandchildren; and son-in-law, Michael Braswell. Nancy was a kind-hearted, loving, compassionate lady, mom, friend, Nana and GG Ma. She is at peace now. Memorials may be made to Interim Hospice, 2217 Perryton Parkway, Pampa, Texas 79065.
