Richard K. “Rick” Clark, 66, of Amarillo and formerly of Pampa, died September 26, 2015 in Amarillo. Memorial services will be at 10:00 AM Saturday, Oct. 3, 2015, in Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel with Rev. Mike Watson, pastor of Hobart Baptist Church, officiating. Cremation and arrangements are by Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. Mr. Clark was born Feb. 15, 1949 in Guymon, Oklahoma to Eldon and Jewell Clark. He came to Pampa in 1952 and was a 1968 graduate of Pampa High School. Rick was advertising director of the Pampa News for many years and had his own weekly newspaper for several years. He also worked at Culberson-Stowers for a few years. Rick enjoyed fishing and playing golf. He was a Baptist. Survivors include a sister, Billie Jean Walsh and husband Charles of Englewood, Colorado; a brother, Tommy Clark and wife Shirley of Pampa; three stepchildren and several nieces and nephews. Rick was preceded in death by his parents. Memorials may be made to Hobart Baptist Church, 1100 W. Crawford, Pampa, TX 79065.
