Britteny Martin Huseman, 29, of Pampa, died October 8, 2015 in Pampa. Vigil and rosary will be at 6:00 PM Sunday, October 11, 2015, at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, with Rev. Francisco Perez, pastor officiating. Funeral mass will be at 10:00 AM Monday, October 12, 2015, at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, with Rev. John Valdez, pastor of St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church in Amarillo, officiating. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery in Groom, under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. Mrs. Huseman was born April 28, 1986 in Pampa. She was reared in Groom where she attended school and graduated from Groom High School in 2004. She attended West Texas A&M University, graduating with a B.S. degree in education in 2008. During her university years, she met the love of her life, Andy Huseman, and they were married on January 1, 2010 in Pampa. Britteny was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church and was active in the Women’s Council. She was a teacher at Austin Elementary for two years and then served as secretary and treasurer for the Catholic Life Insurance Company. Britteny was very active with Snack Pack for Kids. Britteny was a devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister and granddaughter. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Bruce Martin and Leon Parks; and her father-in-law, Raymond Huseman. Survivors include her husband, Andy Huseman of the home; a son, Franklin Huseman of the home; a daughter, Abigail Huseman of the home; her parents, Kenny and Meleney Martin of Groom; a sister, Amanda Clements and husband Brandon of Amarillo; her grandmothers, Aloise Martin of White Deer, and Margaret Parks of Claude; her mother-in-law, Kim Huseman of Amarillo; numerous other in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and friends. Memorials may be made to St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church Pastoral Education Center, 810 W. 23rd, Pampa, Texas 79065.
