Edna Chisum, 98, of Pampa, died October 14, 2015 in Pampa. Services will be at 10:00 AM Monday, October 19, 2015, at First Baptist Church, with Rev. Byron Williamson, pastor, officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. Mrs. Chisum was born October 29, 1916 in Fannin County. She was reared in Roberts County, graduating from Miami High School in 1935. She married Clyde O. Chisum on October 11, 1936 in Wheeler. He preceded her in death on February 9, 1990. Edna had been a resident of Gray County since 1935, moving to Pampa in 1966. She worked for the Hobby Shop for many years. She was a member of First Baptist Church, attended the Faith Sunday school class, and was a member of the Eastern Star. Edna was preceded in death by a grandson, Pvt. Kevin Langley in 1981; a son, Jay Chisum in 1996; a great granddaughter, Cassidy Chisum in 1998; a great grandson, Specialist T. J. Carrillo in 2005; three brothers and one sister. Survivors include her son, Hunter Chisum and wife Samia of Bullard; her daughter, Gail White and husband Whitey of Pampa; nine grandchildren, Ginny Chisum, Scott Langley and wife Sharlan, Marcella Chisum Webb, Chris Chisum and wife Christin, Darrell Narron, Courtney Smith and husband David Powell, Angela Smith, Amy Tippie and husband Jess, and Jamie White and wife Debra; ten great grandchildren, Hattie Webb, Uriel Roscom, Shelby Langley, Seth Langley, Shay Langley, Alyson Chisum, Blake Chisum, Julie Carrillo, Lindsey Narron Wall and Brice Tippie; and two great great grandchildren, Aubree Wall and Berklee Wall.
