Lovie Louise Williams Homer Brown, 98, of Pampa, went to be with her Lord and Savior on October 21, 2015 in Pampa. Services will be at 10:00 AM Monday, October 26, 2015, at Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel, with Rev. Byron Williamson, pastor of First Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. Mrs. Brown was born December 8, 1916 in Cleveland, Arkansas to Mary and Jeff Williams. She moved to Texas in 1933 and was a graduate of Lefors High School and San Jacinto Beauty College in Amarillo. She owned Louise’s Beauty Shop in Lefors and later moved her shop to Pampa. She was a charter member of the Lefors Art & Civic Club and the Knife & Fork Club. She worked at Good Samaritan Christian Services for many years. Lovie was a member of First Baptist Church and served as chairman of the decorating committee, arranging the flowers for 21 years. Lovie married Marion Brown on February 8, 1947 in Lefors. He preceded her in death on April 3, 1979. She later married Hubert H. (Hub) Homer on April 24, 1999. He preceded her in death on March 1, 2010. She was preceded in death by five brothers, Arlie Williams, Geoff Williams, Kenneth Williams, Troy Williams and Billie Ferril Williams; and a sister, Jonnie Williams Cantrell. Survivors include her son, Fred Brown and wife Carol of Pampa; a daughter, Gayle Brown of Pampa; two sisters, Betty Ireland of Pampa and June Williams of Winamac, Indiana; three stepchildren, Patrick Homer and wife Ann Danowitz of Sonita, Arizona, Paula Homer and husband Rick Hoefer of Flower Mound, and Pam Homer and husband James Taylor of Santa Fe, New Mexico; two grandchildren, Chris Thompson of Pampa and Sandra Philley of Canyon; three great grandchildren, Raiden Thompson, Samantha Philley and Brenlie Casados.
