Laverne Mae Glover, 94, of Pampa, died October 26, 2015 at Table Rock Health Care in Kimberling City, Missouri. She had been in the nursing home near her daughter for eight months. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, October 30, 2015 at Carmichael Whatley Colonial Chapel, with Rev. Rick Parnell, retired Baptist minister, officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. Mrs. Glover was born March 22, 1921 in Elk City, Oklahoma. She spent most of her life in Pampa as a homemaker. She married her husband Herman F. Glover on October 5, 1940 in Sayre, Oklahoma. He was the owner of Oilfield Pipelines, Inc. in Pampa. He died on September 30, 1992. Laverne was also preceded in death by her parents James M. and Clara A. Wallin from Pampa, and her sister Lorene Sharp from Hobbs, New Mexico. Laverne was a very loving and caring mother and grandmother. Survivors include her son Gerald Glover of Pampa, her daughter, Patsy Glover Hyman of Kimberling City, Missouri and her grandchildren.
