Charlene Wright

Services will be 10:00 AM Tuesday, November 3, 2015, at Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel, with Rev. Sergio Urrutia, pastor of New Life Assembly of God Church, officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. Mrs. Wright was born August 12, 1945 in Pampa, where she lived most of her life and attended Pampa High School. Charlene married Gerald Wright on January 13, 1960 in Pampa. She was a charter member of Fellowship Baptist Church and also attended Crosspointe Baptist Church and New Life Assembly of God Church. She was a past member of Las Pampas Pond Club, enjoyed spending time at the VFW game room, and spending time with her kids and grandkids. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Sandra Reagan and Merel Smithers. Survivors include her husband, Gerald Wright of the home; two sons, Wade Wright and wife Cheryl of Ft. Worth and Kerry Wright and wife Julie of Pampa; a brother, Doug Reeves and wife Karen of Lefors; two sisters, Nancy McDaniel and husband Ronald of Ada, OK and Brenda Humphry and husband Jimmy of Coalgate, OK.; eight grandchildren and one great granddaughter.
