Mary Ann Andrews Lee, 93, of Wichita Falls, died on Wednesday, November 4, 2015. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 14, 2015 at First United Methodist Church with Rev. Paul Goodrich and Rev. Don Pellikan, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Owens & Brumley Funeral Home of Wichita Falls. Mrs. Lee was born on November 1, 1922 in Hiawatha, Kansas to Mr. Nathan Franklin Andrews and Zereda Balthrop Andrews. She graduated from North Hollywood High School in Hollywood, California and from the University of California at Santa Barbara where she also did graduate work. Mary Ann married Dr. Frank Jones Lee on October 20, 1945 in Santa Ana, California. They were married for 67 years until his death on October 21, 2012. They lived in Galveston and Detroit before moving to Wichita Falls in 1954. Mrs. Lee was a 65 year member of First United Methodist Church where she taught the preschool Sunday school class for many years. She was also a member of the Wichita Falls Junior League, Unity Study Club, and Wichita County Medical Auxiliary. Mrs. Lee taught art appreciation to elementary school children and was involved in many Bible studies. She loved tennis and played into her 80’s. In addition to her husband, Frank, she was also preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Nathan Andrews. She is survived by two daughters, Genny Harris and husband Ron of Arlington, and Sara Carmichael and husband Doug of Pampa; a son, Nathan Lee of Redondo Beach, California; six grandchildren, Sara Mayo and husband Paul of Arlington, Parker Frost and wife Lisa of Knoxville, Tennessee, Ann Carmichael of Washington, D.C., Lee Evans and husband Dr. Will Evans of Colorado Springs, Colorado, and Betsy Lee and Quincy Lee, both of Redondo Beach, California; five great-grandchildren, Shelby and Parker Mayo of Arlington, Davis and Sophie Frost of Knoxville, Tennessee, and Elizabeth Evans of Colorado Springs, Colorado. She is also survived by two sisters-in-law, Carolyn Lee of Wichita Falls, and Mary Ann Graybeal of Marion, Virginia.
