Leslie Jean Jeffers Boyd, 45, of Holton, Kansas went to be with her Lord and Savior, November 13, 2015, surrounded by family and close friends in Pampa. Memorial services will be 3:00 PM Sunday, November 15, 2015, at the Stokes Barn, 3 ½ miles east of Pampa on Highway 6o, across from Schwan’s, turn right at the flags, with Pastor Terry Newell, pastor of Crossroads Cowboy Church in Perry, Kansas, officiating. Additional memorial services will be 6:00 PM Thursday, November 19, 2015, at her home church, Crossroads Cowboy Church in Perry, Kansas, with Pastor Terry Newell, officiating. Cremation and services are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors in Pampa. Mrs. Boyd was born January 12, 1970 in Pampa to Bob Jeffers and Becky Flowers. Leslie Jean had been a Pampa resident from 1970 until moving to Amarillo in 1982 where she graduated from Amarillo High School in 1988. She married Jared Boyd on September 28, 2014 in Perry, Kansas. Leslie Jean has been a resident of Kansas since 1988. She was a member of the Crossroads Cowboy Church and Wild Women of the Frontier reenactment group. Leslie Jean was preceded in death by her mother, Becky Flowers Anderson and her grandparents J.C. and Winnie Flowers and Billie Jo and Gene Jeffers. Survivors include her husband, Jared Boyd of the home; one son, Wyatt Tummons and one daughter, Madi Tummons both of Topeka, Kansas; parents, Bob and Phyllis Jeffers of Pampa; step parents, Larry and Betty Anderson of Iowa Park; loving friends, Bill and Betty Lou McCall of Valley Falls, Kansas; one sister, Tara Lee of Amarillo; three step brothers, John O’Dell and wife Ami of Pawtucket, Rhode Island, Wade Anderson of Amarillo and David Anderson of Miami; step sister, Bobbie Lynne Leal and husband Van of Pampa. Numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Crossroads Cowboy Church, 1225 Oak Street, Perry, Kansas 66073.
