Charles Stanton “Stan” Andrews, age 68, of Dacula, Georgia passed away on Monday, November 9, 2015 in Snellville, Georgia. Services will be at 11:00 AM Friday, November 20, 2015 at Grace Baptist Church in Pampa, Texas, with Pastor Kyle Ohsfeldt, officiating. Graveside services will be at 3:00 PM Friday, in Memory Gardens Cemetery in Amarillo, Texas, with military honors courtesy of Volleys for Veterans from Amarillo. Arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of Pampa. Mr. Andrews was born July 30, 1947 in Ada, Oklahoma to Lee Edward & Clota Meryl Bolding Andrews. He graduated from Latta High School in Ada, Oklahoma and was on the 1964 state champion baseball team. After graduating he married Vickie Allen on March 12, 1966. Stan served in the United States Army and was a Vietnam veteran. He was a member of Grace Baptist Church in Pampa, Texas and enjoyed coaching little league baseball. Stan worked for Brockway Glass in Ada for 17 years, later retiring from Turner Energy due to medical reasons. Stan was preceded in death by son, Stanton Alan Andrews. Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Annie V. “Vickie” Andrews of the home; daughter, Tamara Scaccia and husband Joe of Dacula, Georgia; brother, Eddie Andrews and wife Linda; 3 sisters, Noralene Groves and husband Glen, Linda Kay Krumholz and husband Dan, and Patty McCraw, all of Ada, Oklahoma; grandchildren: Derek & Haley Wishon of Monroe, Georgia; Tyler & Samantha Wishon of Tyrone, Oklahoma, Tanner Andrews, J’Dyn Andrews, and Courtnie Andrews, all of Amarillo, Texas; great grandchildren, Kaleb Groth, Caden Wishon, EmmaLee Wishon, and Elliana Manning.
