Cheryl Anne Teague Douthit

Cheryl Anne Teague Douthit, 69, of Durant, Oklahoma, formerly of Pampa, died November 16, 2015 in Pampa. Services will be at 2:00 PM Wednesday, November 18, 2015, at Priest Park Church of God in Pampa, with Pastor Matthew Jones of Priest Park Church of God, and Dr. Willard Teague, academic dean of Global University in Springfield, Missouri, officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery in Pampa under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of Pampa. Cheryl Anne was born December 12, 1945 in Pampa. She attended schools in Pampa, graduating from Pampa High School in 1964. She married the children’s father on May 29, 1964. Cheryl Anne worked for Pampa Junior High in the special education department for many years. She was an active member of Priest Park Church of God where she enjoyed singing. She later became a member of the Victory Life Church of Durant. Cheryl’s Anne’s greatest joy came from spending time with her family, attending all of her children’s and grandchildren’s events. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her mother, Anne Teague, and a brother, Tommy Teague. Survivors include two daughters, Tamra Johnson Copeland and husband Barry of Canyon, and Stacie Johnson Allison and husband Todd of Durant, Oklahoma; a son, Shawn Johnson and wife Kara of Alvord; her father, Tom Teague of Pampa; a sister, Sonya Everson and husband Kelly of Pampa; a brother, Dale Teague and wife Diane of Pampa; 11 grandchildren; and an aunt, Linda Wideman and husband Mark of Plainview. Memorials may be made to Priest Park Church of God, 731 N. Faulkner, Pampa, Texas 79065. The family will receive friends from 6:00-7:30 PM Tuesday, November 17, 2015, at Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors in Pampa.
