Glenn Earl Hamilton

Glenn Earl Hamilton, 65, of Pampa, went to be with his Lord and Savior on November 17, 2015 in Amarillo. Services will be at 10:00 AM Friday, November 20, 2015, at Calvary Baptist Church, with Rev. Dallas Stringer, pastor, and Rev. Richard Bartel, associate pastor, officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. Mr. Hamilton was born August 8, 1950 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He married Gloria June Hughes on February 22, 1969 in Wheeler. He was employed by Cabot Corporation for 35 years. Glenn was a member of Calvary Baptist Church where he served as a deacon and Sunday school teacher. He loved fishing, camping and spending time with his grandson, Skyler. Survivors include his wife, Gloria June Hamilton of the home; one son, Samuel Shane Hamilton and wife Starla; his grandson, Skyler Shane Hamilton; his mother, Margaret Easter; three sisters, Maryann Christofferson and husband Terry, Shirley Aldridge and husband Dwayne, and Judy Pinatadosi and husband Ron; and one precious aunt, Pauline Oden. Glenn was preceded in death by his father, Edward Earl Hamilton; a brother, Jean Dale Hamilton; and his in-laws, Juanita and Mose Hughes. Memorials may be made to the National Kidney Foundation, Inc., 30 East 33rd Street, New York, NY 10016 The family will receive friends from 6:00-7:30 PM Thursday, November 19, 2015, at Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.
