Mary Evalyn Bronner McCord, 73, of Pampa, died December 1, 2015 in Amarillo. Services will be at 2:00 PM Monday, December 7, 2015, at Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel, with Howard “Duck” Wright, officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. Mrs. McCord was born February 15, 1942 in Amarillo. She graduated from Lefors High School in 1960. She married Aubrey McCord on February 5, 1962 in Pampa. Mary enjoyed quilting, spending time with her family and her three dogs. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Ellen Bronner; two sisters, Betty Smart and Kathryn Linder; and two brothers, Howard Bronner and Raymond Bronner. Survivors include her husband, Aubrey McCord of Pampa; two daughters, Kimberly Bronner and husband Randolph Birkman of Round Rock, Texas and Terri Holmes and husband Joe of Hugoton, Kansas; a son, Clinton McCord of Pampa; a sister, Sallie Beecher and husband Eddie of Pampa; a brother, David Bronner of Pampa; 7 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association National Center, 7272 Greenville Ave., Dallas, Texas 75231. The family will receive friends after the funeral at 1609 N. Dwight.
