Juanita Towles

Juanita Towles, 78, entered heaven’s gate early Monday morning, December 14, 2015 in Amarillo. Services will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, December 16, 2015, at Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel, with Rev. Robert Burns, pastor of First Assembly of God in Levelland, officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. Mrs. Towles was born November 29, 1937 in Redland, California. She married Jack Towles on September 1, 1953 in Cottonwood Falls, Kansas. He preceded her in death on October 11, 2007. Juanita had been a resident of Pampa since 1956. She worked at home raising her five children and any stray animal that wandered up. She was a member of Trinity Fellowship in Pampa. Survivors include two daughters, Kathie Laycock, and Debby Daniel and husband Bruce, all of Pampa; two sons, Scott Towles and wife Karen, and Gary Towles, all of Pampa; nine grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. Juanita was preceded in death by her parents, Glen LaMoyea, Sr. and Linna Pearce LaMoyea; a son, Danny Shane Towles, a brother, Glen LaMoyea, Jr.; and a grandson, Pete Towles.
