Lola “Maggie” DeWitt, 61, of Pampa, died December 17, 2015 in Pampa. Services will be 2:00 PM Monday, December 21, 2015, at Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel, with Rev. Rick Parnell, retired Baptist minister, officiating. Cremation will follow the services under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. Mrs. DeWitt was born March 2, 1954 in Harrisonville, Missouri, to Walter and Juanita Kagarice. She married Damon DeWitt on September 14, 1977 in Pampa. Maggie had been a resident of Pampa since 1994. She was a longtime waitress, baker and cake designer. She was a Baptist. Survivors include her husband, Damon DeWitt of the home; six daughters, Leigh Landers of Joshua, Charity DeWitt, Delta Etheredge and Lynsey DeWitt, all of Pampa, Tiffaney Hill of Minnesota, and LaDonna Barnhart of Garden City, Missouri; a son, Damon DeWitt, II of Pampa; a sister, Decora Revell of Kentucky; two brothers, Walter Kagarice, Jr. of North Carolina, and Gene Kagarice of Garden City, Missouri; 23 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and several extended family members.
