Sharron Paulette Stanley

Sharron Paulette Stanley, 70, of Pampa, went to be with her heavenly Father on December 25, 2015 in Pampa. Services will be 2:00 PM Tuesday, December 29, 2015, at Briarwood Church, with Rev. Lynn Hancock, pastor, officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. Mrs. Stanley was born October 11, 1945 in Shidler, Oklahoma. She had been a resident of Pampa most of her life. She married Jim Stanley on February 1, 1964 in Skellytown. Sharron volunteered at Pampa Regional Medical Center and Meals on Wheels for several years. She worked at Wal-Mart, Dollar General and Payless Shoes. She was a member of Briarwood Church. Sharron was an excellent wife and mother. She enjoyed playing and listening to gospel music and watching Christian shows. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren and going to the beach and ocean at Galveston. Survivors include her husband, Jim Stanley of the home; four daughters, Angela Berryhill and husband Doc of Arlington, Sheri Brown and Candy Stanley-Branscum, both of Amarillo, and Barbie Pacheco and husband Randy of Gatesville; two brothers, Raymond Mayfield and wife Lynda of Waurika, Oklahoma, and Eddie Mayfield and wife Carol of Panhandle; eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Sharron was preceded in death by her parents, Herman and Gertrude Mayfield. Memorials may be made to Pampa Meals on Wheels, PO Box 939, Pampa, Texas 79066-0939.
