Billee Laramore, 89, of Pampa, died December 26, 2015 in Borger. Services will be 2:00 PM Thursday, December 31, 2015, at Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel, with Rev. Lynn Hancock, pastor of Briarwood Church, officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. Mrs. Laramore was born October 2, 1926 in Desdemona to Truman and Nellie Kitchens. She had been a resident of Pampa since the early 1930’s, graduating from Pampa High School in 1944. She married Blake Laramore on December 30, 1942 in Pampa. He preceded her in death on October 6, 2006. Billee started playing the piano for her church at the age of 12, and played at the Church of God until 1971. She also taught piano and accordion for many years. She was the bookkeeper for Blake’s Food Store for 35 years. She was a member of First Baptist Church and was a member and past worthy matron of Pampa Chapter #65 Order of the Eastern Star. Billee loved sewing, crocheting and quilting. Survivors include a daughter, Karan Cross and husband Wink of Pampa; a son, Gary Laramore and wife Jerilyn of Panhandle; a sister, Faye Jenks of Austin; three grandchildren, Preston Cross and wife Emily of Surprise, Arizona, Gary Laramore, Jr. and wife Stacie of Seminole, and Kerri Harris of Pampa; six great grandchildren, Adam Cross and Stephanie Cross, both of Phoenix, Arizona, Christopher Harris of Pampa, Carter Laramore, Makenzie Laramore and Andrew Laramore, all of Seminole; and a sister-in-law, Phyllis Kitchens of Pampa. Billee was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, T. C. Kitchens, Jr. and Nelson Kitchens; and a sister, Mary Conine.
