Vivian Lois Gray White, 85, of Pampa, went to be with the Lord on January 1, 2016 in Amarillo. Services will be at 10:00 AM Tuesday, January 5, 2016 at Calvary Baptist Church with Rick Pearson of Calvary Baptist Church, officiating and Pastor Dallas Stringer, minister of Calvary Baptist Church, assisting. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery of Pampa under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. Vivian was born March 23, 1930 in Winchester, Kentucky to Holly and Millie Mae Gray. She attended schools in Grandview and Pampa High where she graduated. She married Clyde Mickey White on May 6, 1949. They were married 58 years before Mickey went to be with Jesus on July 5, 2007. She was a life-long member of Calvary Baptist Church. She drove the Pampa schools bus for 34 years with her two side-kicks Estelle Montgomery and Ikey Earp. She was very talented when it came to sewing and cooking. She greatly loved her God and her family. She was preceded in death her parents, Holly and Millie Mae Gray; step-mother, Alice Gray; her brother James Gray and his daughter Darinda Robinson and by a step brother, Lee Cockrell. Survivors include two daughters, Brenda Kelley and husband Buster of Pampa, Jane Bjork and husband Don of Amarillo; a son Jim White and wife Janet also of Amarillo; 20 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren; and 7 great great grandchildren; by a step brother, Buddy Cockrell and wife Geniva,; sister-in-laws Joyce Gray, Kitty Arnold, Colonel Williams, Patsy Gates and husband Eddie; and by a brother-in-law Otis White and wife Betty and a host of nieces and nephews and cousins.
