Teddy Ray Malone, 72, a lifelong resident of Pampa, went to be with the Lord on Friday, January 1, 2016 at his home surrounded by family. Services will be at 2:00 PM Tuesday, January 5, 2016 at Central Baptist Church, with Rev. Norman Rushing, pastor of Central Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. Teddy was born on June 8, 1943 to Thelma and Dalton Malone along with his brothers, was lovingly known as “The Malone Boys”. Teddy attended Pampa public schools and on February 16, 1963, he and his sweetheart, Margie Robertson, eloped to Canadian, TX. Together they raised their two sons, Tommy and Barry. Teddy worked with his brothers at Atlas Construction and was later employed by B&B Solvent, Inc. for over 20 years. He was married to Margie for 52 years and was a member of Central Baptist Church. Teddy enjoyed cooking, Sci-fi movies, Dallas Cowboy football, The Walking Dead, his favorite chair, the legends of Area 51, Sunday family dinners, and solving the world’s problems over coffee at Granny’s Home Cookin’ with friends. Teddy held traditional family values, loved his country and followed Jesus Christ. He was a loving husband, Dad, and Papa and was a friend to all who knew him. He was met in Heaven by his Savior, parents Thelma and Dalton Malone, Brother Darwyn Malone, his best friend Karl Parks, and countless other family and friends who finished their race before him. He is survived by his wife, Margie of the home, two sons, Tommy Malone and Barry Malone both of Pampa; one daughter-in-law Deana Malone Hartshorn of Erie CO; four grandchildren, Chelsea Malone, Tanner Malone, Garrett Malone, and Halie Malone all of Pampa; One great-granddaughter, Savannah Armstrong of Pampa; two brothers, Harold Malone and his wife Neva of Pampa, Robert Malone and his wife Carol of Pearland; sister-in-law Ann Malone of Pampa; a brother in-law, Jimmy Robertson and his wife Judy of Pampa; and many loving nieces, nephews and other extended family.
