Frank Sokolosky, 84, of Pampa, died Thursday, Jan. 14, 2016 in Roberts County. Vigil and Rosary will be said at 6:00 PM Monday, January 18, 2016 in Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel, and funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:00 AM Tuesday, January 19, 2016 in St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, with Rev. Francisco Perez, officiating both services. Cremation will follow under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. Frank was born March 28, 1931, in Yukon, Oklahoma to George Sokolosky and Josephine Botch Sokolosky. He graduated from Yukon High School in 1949. After serving in the US Army, he attended Oklahoma Panhandle State University, graduating with degrees in Animal Science and Nutrition. He married Darlene White in 1959. Frank started a janitorial service in 1979 and ran it until his retirement. He loved plants and gardening. Frank was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Bob Sokolosky, two sisters, Margaret Churchman and Mary Sokolosky. Survivors include his wife, Darlene, four sons, David Sokolosky and wife Cami of Corinth, Steve Sokolosky of Pampa, Greg Sokolosky and wife DeLette of Austin, and Brad Sokolosky and wife Jennifer of Edmond, Oklahoma, and thirteen grandchildren.
