Beverly June Kempa

Beverly June Kempa, 86, of Pampa, died January 18, 2016 in Nocona. Services will be at 2:00 PM Friday, January 22, 2016 at Memory Gardens Mausoleum in Pampa, with William C. Russell, her son, officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery with arrangements under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. Mrs. Kempa was born March 16, 1929 in Brownwood. She had been a resident of Pampa since 1938. She married Frank J. Kempa on September 16, 1960 in Tucumcari, New Mexico. He preceded her in death on July 6, 2008. Beverly was a registered nurse, working for Highland General Hospital for 38 years, and working as a hospice nurse for 10 years. She was a longtime member of First Christian Church. Survivors include her son, William C. Russell of Bowie; her daughter, Rainell Beck of South Jordan, Utah; and five grandchildren. Beverly was also preceded in death by a son, Frank Kempa in 1979. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to First Christian Church, 1633 N. Nelson, Pampa, Texas 79065.
