Izlon “Cookie” Cooke, 96, of Pampa, died on January 27, 2016 in Pampa. Private family graveside services were held at Hillcrest Cemetery in McLean, under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. Mrs. Cooke was born November 26, 1919 in Pickins, Oklahoma to Mr. and Mrs. Henry Rosson. She was a member of the Business and Professional Women’s Sunday school class at First Baptist Church. Izlon was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 68 years, R. B. “Jiggs” Cooke; and a son, Lt. j.g. Joe G. Cooke. Survivors include a son, Ret. Col. Harold Cooke and wife Betty; a daughter, Paulette Hinkle; four grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
