Ida Johnson Silberg, 82, of Pampa, died January 30, 2016 in Pampa. Memorial services will be at 10:30 AM Wednesday, February 3, 2016, at First Church of the Nazarene, with Rev. Jimmye Cole, pastor, officiating. Cremation and arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. Mrs. Silberg was born May 27, 1933 in Higgins. She married Charles Richard “Dick” Silberg on April 12, 1952, and he preceded her in death in 1988. She had been a resident of Pampa since 1996, moving from Austin. Ida worked for the Secretary of State as a microfilm operator in Austin for fifteen years, retiring in 1995. She was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene, and was an avid bowler and photographer Survivors include a daughter, Gail Bright and husband Floyd Dale of Pampa; a sister, Edith Richerson and husband Dale of Fritch; and a brother, Elmer Johnson of Council Hill, Oklahoma.
