Warren Kent McDonald

Warren Kent McDonald, 92, of Pampa died February 5, 2016, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Services will be at 2:00 PM Thursday, February 11, 2016 at Memory Gardens Mausoleum in Pampa. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery, under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of Pampa. Mr. McDonald was born August 30, 1923 in Erick, Oklahoma. He married Georgia Faye Overstreet on April 3, 1943 in Pampa at the First Presbyterian Church. He served in the Army Air Corp during WWII. Mr. McDonald was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Pampa and worked at Celanese for 30 years before retiring. Upon retirement, Warren Kent & Georgia spent many happy years traveling across the United States in their RV. Warren Kent was preceded in death by his wife, Georgia, in 2008. Survivors include one son, Charles McDonald of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; one daughter, Janelle Cohoon of Lake Kiowa, Texas, five grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
