Kenneth Troy York, 93, of Bryson and formerly of Pampa, died February 24, 2016 in Wichita Falls. Graveside services will be 2:00 PM Saturday, February 27, 2016, at Fairview Cemetery in Pampa, with Rev. Richard Bartel, associate pastor of Calvary Baptist Church of Pampa, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of Pampa. Mr. York was born October 1, 1922 in Waurika, Oklahoma. He was a veteran of the U. S. Navy, serving during World War II on the USS Wadsworth in the Pacific. Troy was a member of the National Guard in Pampa from 1952 until 1955. He married Anna Mae Graham on September 7, 1951 in Lovington, New Mexico. She preceded him in death on October 1, 1999. He was a member of the Pampa Optimist Club since 1963, and a member of Calvary Baptist Church of Pampa. He was a process operator for Cabot Corporation, retiring in 1985 after 35 years of service. Survivors include two sons, Charles Ray Colwell of Albuquerque, New Mexico and Steve York of Florida; two brothers, Don Bigham of Amarillo and Oscar York, Sr. of Whitesboro; four sisters, Dorothy Kennemer and Joy Huckins, both of Pampa, Bonnie Mae Lowry and Anna Alice, both of Whitesboro; 6 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, and 6 great great grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by a son, James Howell Colwell in 1974. Memorials may be made to Graham Church of God, PO Box 217, Graham, Texas 76450
