Emma R. Clark

Emma R. Clark, 93, of Pampa, died March 3, 2016 in Pampa. Memorial services will be at 1:30 PM Saturday, March 12, 2016, at Kingdom Hall of the Jehovah’s Witnesses, with John Lopez, elder, officiating. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. Mrs. Clark was born June 13, 1922 in Altoona, Pennsylvania. She attended schools and graduated in Pennsylvania. She married Dallas Clark on March 23, 1961 in Winter Haven, California. They moved to Pampa in 2005 to be close to their children. Emma worked as a nurse for many years. She was a member of the Jehovah’s Witnesses. She wrote poetry and enjoyed crafting, where she liked to needlepoint and craft ceramics. Survivors include her husband, Dallas Clark of the home; a son, William E. Benson of Pampa; two daughters, Mary Ellen Hinton of Texas, and Anne McCown of Pampa; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
