Billy Wayne Harris

Bill Harris, 66, of Skellytown, died Friday, April 8, 2016, in Pampa. Services will be 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, April 13, 2016, at Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel, with Pastor Chip Watson, pastor of Soldiers for Christ Fellowship in Skellytown, TX, officiating. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. Mr. Harris was born August 21, 1949 in Pampa. Bill married Debbie Richter on June 1, 1973 in Pampa. She preceded him in death on March 4, 2011. He worked for Union Pipe Fitter Local #196 for over 30 years, retiring in 2011. Bill served in the U.S. Army stationed in Germany until 1971. He loved riding his Harley on the open road. Survivors include two sons, Thomas Harris of El Reno, Oklahoma and Jeff Harris of Pampa; 2 daughters, Bonnie Harris of Skellytown and Jennifer Bryan of Pampa; and six grandchildren.
