Loretta Faye Wright

Loretta Faye Wright, 69, of Pampa, went to be with our Lord and Savior on April 10, 2016 in Amarillo, surrounded by her loving family. Services will be 2:00 PM Thursday, April 14, 2016, at First Pentecostal Holiness Church, with Rev. Albert Maggard, pastor, officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. Mrs. Wright was born April 21, 1946 in Joplin, Missouri. She had been a resident of Pampa since 1951, graduating from Pampa High School in 1965. Loretta married Glenn Wright on January 15, 1971. He preceded her in death on May 27, 2015. She worked for the Latchkey Program at Horace Mann Elementary and Austin Elementary from 1987 until 1996. Loretta was a homemaker, and a member of First Pentecostal Holiness Church. Survivors include a son, William Wright of Seagraves; two sisters, Deanna Boatman of Amarillo, and Nettie Bumgarner of Sherman; and a brother, Steve Edwards of Germany. Loretta was also preceded in death by a son, Jerry Wright in 1980. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, c/o Gerry Caylor, 2130 Charles, Pampa, Texas 79065.
