“Granny” Lina Bolin, 76, of Pampa, died April 18, 2016 in Pampa. Memorial services will be at 2:00 PM Friday, April 22, 2016, at Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel, with Dale Meadows, officiating. Cremation and arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. Mrs. Bolin was born February 3, 1940 in Tuttle, Oklahoma, to Jake and Cleo Jenkins. She married Wendel Wayne Bolin, Sr. on December 1, 1958 in Pampa. He preceded her in death on October 29, 2001. Granny had been a resident of Pampa since 1970. She worked at Marie Foundations, Community Day Care Center, Pampa Nursing Center as the activity director of the Alzheimer’s unit, and had a day care center in her home. Survivors include a daughter, Teresa Wade of Pampa; a son, Darrell Bolin of Moore, Oklahoma; seven brothers, Bill, John, Tony, Eddy, Joe, W. A., and James Jenkins; two sisters, Helen Dibble and Sally Ingram; 12 grandchildren, Jennifer Wakeman of Fallon, Nevada, Joe Bolin and wife Jamie and James Bolin, all of Fort Worth, Julie Bryan and husband Jeff of Great Falls, South Dakota, Travis Kelly and wife Shanna of Weatherford, Tony Kelly and wife Jessica of Burnet, Michelle Goodson and husband Johnny, Alicia Sanchez and husband John, Michael Auguiano, Brandy Ketchum and husband Chris, and Tyrel Bolin and wife Mary Lee, all of Pampa, and Jake Bolin and wife Sarah of Romoland, California; and 27 great grandchildren. Granny was also preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Floyd Jenkins in 2006; a great granddaughter, Kenzee Bolin in 2007; a son, Wendel Wayne Bolin, Jr., in 2013; son-in-law, Steve Wade in 2014; and daughter-in-law, Kathy Kelly in 2015. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to staff and friends at Coronado Healthcare Center and Interim Hospice for a job well done. Family will receive friends from 6:00-7:30 PM Thursday, April 21, 2016, at Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.
