Roberta Lynn “Robbie” Pepper, 61, of Pampa, died April 28, 2016 in Pampa. Memorial services will be 2:00 PM Friday, May 6, 2016, at Briarwood Church, with Dr. Jeff Knighton, pastor, officiating. Cremation and arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. Mrs. Pepper was born December 9, 1954 in Wellington, Kansas. She was a 1972 graduate of Arkansas City High School in Arkansas City, Kansas, and received her Masters of Music degree from West Texas State University in Canyon. Robbie had been a resident of Pampa since 1980. She married Jim Pepper on March 5, 1983 in Pampa. She was a member of First Christian Church. Robbie enjoyed gardening, playing bass in the church band, and playing golf. She was a member of the Amarillo Symphony, playing the French horn for ten years. Robbie won ribbons at the Tri State Fair in Amarillo for her stained glass creations. Survivors include her husband, Jim Pepper of the home; her son, Aaron Pepper and fiancée Katy Witmer of Bristol, Connecticut; her daughter, Stacy Pepper of Pampa; her parents, Richard and Norma Hawkins of Arkansas City, Kansas; and two brothers, Rick Hawkins and wife Kristi, and Jeff Hawkins and wife Zena, all of Arkansas City, Kansas.
