Geraldine Connell

Geraldine Connell, 92, of Lefors, died May 16, 2016 in Pampa. Services will be 10:00 AM Saturday, May 21, 2016, at First Baptist Church in Lefors, with Rev. Ken Houston, pastor, officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Heights Cemetery in Lefors under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of Pampa. Mrs. Connell was born November 1, 1923 in Amarillo. She married Elwood Connell on June 1, 1942 in Sara, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death on January 16, 1996. She had been a resident of Lefors since 1961. Geraldine was a very active member of First Baptist Church in Lefors where she taught Sunday school. She was a homemaker. Survivors include four grandchildren, Tess Harden and husband Allen, Mark Connell and Eric Connell, all of Lefors, and Kimberleigh Pulatie of Pampa; six great grandchildren, two great great grandsons and three cousins. Geraldine was preceded in death by two sons, Carl Connell on February 22, 2016 and Malcolm Connell on May 16, 2016; one brother and three sisters, Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church of Lefors.
