Jerry Mulanax, 86, of Pampa, passed away June 25, 2016 in Pampa. Services will be 2:00 PM Tuesday, June 28, 2016 at Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel with Dale Meadows, a Church of Christ minister, officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Pampa. Arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. Mr. Mulanax was born June 3, 1930 in Borger. He has lived in Pampa for over 60 years. Jerry married Wanda Mangham November 22, 1976 in Sayre, Oklahoma. Jerry was an experienced oilfield worker, working mainly on rigs and as a transport driver, retiring in 2000. Jerry loved working on his old cars and trucks, enjoyed gardening, and enjoyed spending time with his horses when he was younger. Jerry loved listening to the Gaithers on Saturday night television. He was a member of Mary Ellen and Harvester Church of Christ. Survivors include his wife, Wanda Mulanax, of the home; 3 sons, Jerry Carrol Mulanax of Pampa, Adam Mulanax and wife Sonia of Pampa, and Phillip Mangham and wife Lisa of Springdale, Arkansas; 3 daughters, Starla Kindle and husband Eddie of Pampa, Susie Reet and husband Jeff of Lexington, Texas, and Rhonda Guinn and husband Russell of Bentonville, Arkansas; 1 brother, Joe Mulanax of Shawnee, Oklahoma; 18 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two brothers, one sister, and 2 great-grandchildren. Family requests memorials be made to a favorite charity.
