H. M. Killough, age 85, of White Deer, passed away Wednesday, July 13, 2016 at his home. Services will be 2:00 PM Saturday, July 16, 2016 at Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel in Pampa, with Dale Meadows, officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Pampa, under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of Pampa. H. M. was born August 14, 1930 in Pampa, the son of the late Horace and Thelma Scarberry Killough. He was a veteran of the United States Army. He was a self-employed tile installer and jack of all trades. H. M. enjoyed working on computers and playing his guitar. Other than his parents, he is preceded in death by his first wife and mother of his children, Juanita Killough; second wife, Joyce Killough; and three sisters. Left to cherish his memory are his three daughters, Sherry Hampton of Jay, Oklahoma, Karen Martin and husband Daryl of Donaldson, Arkansas and Debbie Chandler and husband Charlie of Pampa; a step-daughter, Jeannie Slocum and husband David of Austin; nine grandchildren; five great grandchildren; a brother, Raymond Cox of Pampa; special friend, Butch Ware of White Deer; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 12:30-1:30 PM Saturday, July 16, 2016, at Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.
