Flora L. Taylor, 85, of Pampa, died July 13, 2016 in Pampa. Services will be 10:00 AM Tuesday, July 19, 2016, at Memory Gardens Mausoleum, with Chaplain Ken Branum of Accolade Home Care and Hospice, officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. Mrs. Taylor was born April 3, 1931 in Hempstead County, Arkansas. She was raised in Arkansas on a farm, and she attended and graduated from school in a two-room school house. After high school, Flora came to Texas where she enrolled in business college in Dallas. After college, she lived in Texas and Michigan. In 2004, she moved to Pampa where she lived up until the time of her death. Flora liked to travel and sew. She especially loved to garden and bird watch. She will be greatly missed by family and friends. Survivors include two daughters, Sandra Leuschner of Madisonville, and Sharla Wallin of Pampa; a son, Randall Wade and wife Rinita Major of Trinity; 9 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. Flora was preceded in death by her parents, Clifton and Opal Martin; a daughter, Vicki Durgan; two brothers, Kenneth Martin and Jerry Martin; and a sister, Gayle Miller.
