Charlie Lang, 77, of Pampa, died July 17, 2016 in Amarillo. Services will be 2:00 PM Thursday, July 21, 2016, at Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel, with Rev. Lynn Hancock, pastor of Briarwood Church, officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. Mr. Lang was born April 22, 1939 in Collingsworth County, and was a 1957 graduate of Kelton High School. He married Eulen Clymer on May 12, 1965 in Kelton. Charlie had been a resident of Pampa since 1968. He worked at Cabot, National Oilwell, and National Oilwell Varco for over 34 years. He was a member of Briarwood Church. Charlie enjoyed restoring old cars, and helping his wife with the upholstery work on the cars. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family. Survivors include his wife, Eulen Lang of the home; three daughters, Cheryl Dilday of Clearwater, Florida, Beth Blackwell and husband Steve of Medford, Oregon, and Cindy Lang of Pampa; a sister, Laurann Gilbert and husband Johnny of Pampa; six grandchildren, Daniel Dilday, Desiary Dilday, Teralynn Murdock, Jessica Koepnick, Amber Lang and Jase Lang; and four great grandchildren, Christian Bohnstehn, Kevyn Bohnstehn, Karson Koepnick, and Lexia Chaney. Charlie was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie and Zenith Lang; and a son, Charlie “Mo” Lang. Memorials may be made to Briarwood Church, 1800 W. Harvester, Pampa, Texas 79065.
