Bettie Willson Craig, 79, Pampa, passed away on July 23, 2016 in Pampa. Services will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, July 27, 2016, at Hobart Baptist Church with Rev. Mike Watson, pastor, officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery with graveside rites courtesy of Order of the Eastern Star, chapter #787. Arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. Mrs. Craig was born December 31, 1936 in Pampa. She graduated from Pampa High School in 1956. Bettie married Robert G. Craig on February 10, 1956 in Pampa; they celebrated their 60 year anniversary this past February. She was a bookkeeper for Anthony’s and Beall’s for many years and worked for Texas Pipe and Metal for 18 years before she retired. Robert and Bettie raised their family in the Kingsmill community for 35 years, where they attended the Kingsmill Community Church. She has been a member of Hobart Baptist Church for the last 19 years. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star where she served as Past Matron and served as DGM and was a member of the Golden Spread Tractor Club and Proud Heritage Tractor Club. She enjoyed camping, attending family reunions, and spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Pappy and Ethel Willson; 3 sisters, Ruth Camp, Viola Duggan, and Nadine Lockhart; and 2 brothers, Lloyd Willson and James Willson. She is survived by her husband, Robert G. Craig of the home; a daughter, Carol Sue Knutson and Lee Bear of Pampa; three sons, Randall Craig and wife Tracey of Beaver Creek, OH, Michael Craig and Mark Craig both of Pampa; a brother, Alfred Willson and wife Gloria of Pampa; 10 grandchildren, Jeremy Knutson, Shannon Craig, Carey Knutson, Leah Gebbie, Meagan Craig, Julie Thompson, Hannah Craig, Abby Panter, Bridget Hillman, and Jimmy Craig; 9 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends at the funeral home 6:30-8:00 PM on Tuesday July 26, 2016. Memorials can be sent to Hobart Baptist Church, 1100 W. Crawford, Pampa, Texas 79065.
