Kaye McMillion Osborne

Kaye McMillion Osborne, 73, of Pampa, died August 1, 2016 in Pampa. Graveside services will be 1:00 PM Monday, August 8, 2016, at Elmhurst Cemetery in Guymon, Oklahoma with Rev. Van Heckle of Tabernacle Baptist Church of Guymon, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. Mrs. Osborne was born October 16, 1942 in Osage, Arkansas to W. B. and Eartha Howerton McMillion. As a young girl, she and her family lived in Seminole, Oklahoma where she attended grade school. Her family moved to Guymon, Oklahoma when she was a teenager and she was a student of Guymon High School. Kaye met Kenneth “Mannie” Osborne and they were married on August 23, 1966. They raised their family in the Guymon and Canadian areas. She and Mannie were inseparable up until the time of his death in 2009. Kaye had been a resident of Pampa since 2011. She loved the outdoors and she loved all animals, especially horses. Since 1956 she was an avid Elvis Presley fan. She prided herself on the making of her home and was an excellent cook and loved to bake. She loved growing flowers and had beautiful rosebushes. Kaye will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend, and she will be greatly missed. Survivors include her daughter, Traci Lynn Osborne; two sisters, Delphia Grider and husband J. D., and Juanita Henderson, all of Amarillo; a brother, Carl McMillion of Seminole, Oklahoma; two grandsons, Taos Pool and wife Ashley of Mico, Oklahoma, and Talon Osborne of Borger; three granddaughters, Teale Pool of Memphis, Kristin Olson of Richmond, and Terra Osborne of Rosenburg; and four great grandchildren. Kaye was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Randy Osborne; a sister, Oneda Johnson; and a brother, Harvey McMillion. Memorials may be made to Osborne Field c/o of Hemphill County Courthouse of Canadian, TX. Kaye will be available for viewing on Sunday, August 7, 2016 from 1:00 PM till 8:00 PM.
