Stan Bush, 65, of Pampa, died August 22, 2016 in Pampa. Memorial services will be 10:00 AM Friday, September 9, 2016, at First Baptist Church in White Deer, with Pastor Alan Wilson, officiating. Cremation and arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. Stan was born April 21, 1951 in Denton. As a young boy, his family moved to White Deer. He attended school in White Deer where he was an all-around athlete, playing football, basketball and baseball, and graduated from White Deer High School in 1969. After graduation, he attended and graduated from Louisiana State University. Stan was a salesman, working in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Odessa, Austin, Fort Worth, and Pampa. He married Gail McCord on October 12, 2013 in Odessa. He enjoyed the outdoors where he liked to fish and hunt, but his true passion was playing golf. He was a longtime member of First Baptist Church of White Deer. Stan was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother and brother-in-law, and will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Stan was preceded in death by his father, Jim Bush. Survivors include his wife, Gail Bush of the home; five daughters, Taylor Stampke of Austin, Chantel Fipps and husband Jeremy of Longview, Jacinda Cooke and husband Marvin of Cahone, Colorado, Kari House and husband Don, and Carol McCord-Howell and husband Kennith, all of Odessa; his mother, Dorothy Bush of Fruitland, New Mexico; a brother, Steve Bush and wife Danielle of Fruitland, New Mexico; mother-in-law, Elaine Townsend of White Deer; sister-in-law, Brenda Cornelison and husband Lee of Pampa; six grandsons, seven granddaughters, one great grandson, two great granddaughters; four nephews, one niece; and a close friend, Bill Downs of Pampa.
