Gaylon Wayne Jones

Gaylon Wayne Jones, 67, of Pampa, died August 27, 2016 in Pampa. Memorial services are pending with Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. Mr. Jones was born April 14, 1949 in Utah. He had been a lifelong resident of Pampa. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army, serving during the Vietnam War. Gaylon was a long haul truck driver with Koyote Trucking for the past twelve years. Survivors include six sons, Charles Jones of California, Mike Hartzell and Chuck Jones, both of Plainview, Charles Aylor and wife Vanessa of Ardmore, Oklahoma, Sean Moree and wife Heather of Shallowater, and Allen Short of Pampa; a daughter, Brandi Short of Pampa; 10 grandchildren and 2 great granddaughters.
