Millie Overstreet McKinley, 87, of Pampa, died Friday, Oct. 7, 2016, in Frisco. Services will be at 2:00 PM Thursday, Oct. 13, 2016, at the First Baptist Church with Rev. Byron Williamson, pastor, and Rev. Barry Owens, associate pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. Arrangements are by Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. Mrs. McKinley was born Jan. 1, 1929 in Quitaque to Howell and Lela Anderson Overstreet and had been a resident of Pampa since 1942. She married John Paul McKinley on July 16, 1946 in Pampa. He preceded her in death on March 26, 2016. Millie worked for Security Federal Savings and Loan Association for 23 years. She was a longtime member of First Baptist Church where she taught Sunday school for ten years, and she and her husband were on the counting committee for many years. Millie was also preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include two daughters, Carolyn Quarles and husband Chuck of Frisco and Gayle Curtis and husband Joe of Pampa; a sister, Jo Wilkerson of Tulia; five grandchildren, McKinley Lee and husband Brandon of Fort Worth; Clint Curtis and wife Alason of Dallas; Tyson Curtis and wife Kristen and Andrew Curtis and wife Sara, all of Pampa; and Kimberly West and husband Coleby of Lubbock; and nine great grandchildren.
