Phyllis Catherine Wahlberg, born August 24, 1926 passed away on October 25, 2016. Phyllis was born in Quincy, Massachusetts to Maj. Dominic Palmer and Margaret Palmer. She was the oldest of three children. Her siblings are Dominic Palmer, Jr. and Nancy Traverse. Phyllis married Larry Wahlberg, Jr and they had 3 sons: Larry Wahlberg III, Michael Wahlberg and Rick Wahlberg. She was 'Nana' to 14 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. Phyllis received her degree in Accounting and worked in Houston, Beaumont and Austin, Texas in her field. In 1990 she was a Founder and Sec/Treasurer of Image Micrographics, Inc (IMI) along with her son, Rick Wahlberg, President. Phyllis actively worked at IMI until her retirement in 2013, at the age of 87. She was an active Board Member and advisor to Rick until her passing. To friends and family members, even a short phone call with Phyllis was like a breath of fresh air from their busy lives. Phyllis was a very spiritual person who began her religious experience as a Catholic, and embraced all religions that would get her closer to God and allow her to share her positive beliefs in all people. She traveled around the world in this endeavor and, along with her granddaughter Aaron, made many lifelong friendships along the way. Phyllis became a friend of world-renowned spiritual leaders like Sathya Sai Baba, and Amma, the "Hugging Saint", a receiver of the United Nations Gandhi-King award for Non-Violence. Phyllis' presence will be forever missed, but her love, wisdom and spiritual presence will be with all that had the joy of spending time with her.
