Virginia Roberts, 75, of Pampa, passed away on November 7, 2016 in Amarillo. Services will be 2:00 PM Thursday, November 10, 2016, at St. Vincent dePaul Catholic Church, with Rev. Francisco Perez, pastor, officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. Mrs. Roberts was born March 11, 1941 in Waco to Christopher and Faye Dorsey. She was baptized in the Roman Catholic Church. She graduated from Waco High School and attended school for court reporting and stenography. She had been a resident of Pampa since 1962. Virginia married Stanley Roberts in 1962. He preceded her in death on December 20, 1993. She later married Dan Guthrie on April 30, 1996. Virginia had many jobs throughout her life; helping her mother run restaurants in Levelland and Sundown, working at Marie Foundations factory in Pampa, and taking care of the elderly. She had a big heart and generous spirit. She loved dancing, music, watching Food Network, and spending time with her family and three dogs. She was also preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Tommy; and three sisters, Caroline, Debbie and Dixie. Survivors include her husband of twenty years, Dan Guthrie of the home; her children and stepchildren, Steve Gordon of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Sandi Boyd and husband Greg, and Crystal Fuller, all of Pampa, Ricky Roberts and wife Beverly of Richmond, Kyle Roberts and Karin Boyd, both of Pampa, Scott Guthrie and wife Kimberly of Edmond, Oklahoma, Daniel Guthrie of Amarillo, and Jennifer Griffith and husband Jeffery of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; two sisters, Paula Foss of Lubbock and Kelly Mitchell of Ruidoso, New Mexico; as well as many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
