LaVerne Bradsher, 83, of Pampa, died November 23, 2016 in Amarillo. Services will be 2:00 PM Saturday, November 26, 2016, at First Assembly of God, with Rev. Ed Sattesahn, pastor, officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. Mrs. Bradsher was born September 6, 1933 in Vanndale, Arkansas to John and Iva Dickson. She was a 1951 graduate of Wynne High School in Wynne, Arkansas. She married Billy Bradsher on September 26, 1952 in Wynne. He preceded her in death on March 25, 2000. LaVerne moved to Texas in 1957 and settled in Pampa in 1964. She was a librarian at Lovett Memorial Library in Pampa for 16 years. She loved to travel and read aloud to her children and grandchildren. LaVerne was a member of First Assembly of God where she actively served for over 50 years. Survivors include four daughters, Rhonda Culwell and husband Robert of Perryton, Retha Pearce and husband Jack of Amarillo, Dietra Bradsher of Mustang, Oklahoma, and Anissa Duncan and husband Randel of Waxahachie; two sons, Royce Bradsher of Mesa, Arizona, and Crispin Bradsher and wife Crystal of Nacogdoches; 15 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. LaVerne was preceded in death by a son, Richard Bradsher in 1958. Memorials may be made to First Assembly of God Children's Ministry/Outreach, 500 S. Cuyler, Pampa, Texas 79065.
