Vickie Lynn Hoover Daley

Vickie Lynn Hoover-Daley, 60, of Pampa left this earth for her heavenly home on Thursday November 24, 2016. Services will be 10:00 AM Monday December 5, 2016 at Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel, with Pastor Ben Corbitt of Faith Tabernacle Church, officiating. Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery of Pampa under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. Mrs. Daley was born November 17, 1956 in Pampa to Louise and Lee Hoover. She was a 1976 graduate of Pampa High School. She married Bobby Daley on June 6, 2003 at Pampa. He preceded her in death in 2012. She worked for many years in both Pampa nursing homes until she joined the family business. After her father retired, she and her sister, Debbie joined forces to operate Triangle Well Service. Together they grew the business, purchasing Pampa Water Disposal in 2001. She retired in 2011 to enjoy her grandchildren, following the example of Grandpa Hoover. She was the apple of his eye and was determined to show her grandchildren the same kind of love. What she enjoyed most in life was spending time in the mountains of Red River and attending various concert events. She cherished being a loving mother, mother-in-law, devoted “Mimi,” cherished sister, unforgettable aunt and remarkable friend. She was a member of Faith Tabernacle Church, where she was baptized in Jesus’ Name. Survivors include a daughter, Carrie Waldrip and husband Nathan of Pampa; her fiancée, Rick Allee of Pampa; her sister Debbie Hoover of Pampa; two grandchildren, Cadie and Hayden Waldrip and her third grandchild will be here in June; great aunt and uncle, Kathryn and Bill Bryant of Pampa; nephew, Marcus Hall of Pampa; three great nephews, Chris Howard, Hunter Hall and Braydon Dyson all of Pampa; great nieces, Jessica Hall and Faith Hall, both of Pampa; and numerous cousins and friends.
